PHP is as popular with those with security at heart because it is run from the server. The WordPress which  accounts for more than 33 per cent of the websites on the worldwide is developed with PHP.  Nearly all the blogs run on open source software, which are mostly the product of PHP, including the eCommerce application.

PHP is great for developing and running interactive apps and websites.  Great social media organisations such the Face Book, WhatsApp to mention a few are the products of the PHP.   As a server scripting language, it is needed where security is paramount.  The PHP engineers are sought after all over the world.  With the skill, you do not have to work for anybody, but can start something for yourself.  You can start learning it straight away, but a basic understanding of the HTML and CSS is recommended.  Again, basic understanding of JavaScript will be an added advantage.
